Dr. José Bensoussan was trained as a pediatric ENT and cervicofacial surgeon with expertise in the anatomy, physiology, and clinical care of the ear, nose, and upper airway at Université Claude Bernard Lyon. He has combined his clinical expertise with a career developing innovative medical technologies, making him particularly well suited partner for the development of Roll'b's innovative ear cleaning and drying device.

Introducing Mike, Roy & Dr. Bensoussan, the minds behind Roll-b! Dr. Bensoussan was frustrated by the frequent & unsafe use of Q-tips (cotton swabs) for at-home ear drying and cleaning. He challenged Mike & Roy, serial entrepreneurs & medtech engineers, to develop a safer, more effective ear cleaning product.

The primary concern with traditional cotton swabs is how they can push earwax further into the ear canal. Unlike conventional cotton swabs that push, Roll-b “backs out” earwax, reducing the risk of ear damage.

Torin, Mike’s special needs son, works part-time at Roll-b Swab and has inspired the company to donate a proportion of its profits to intellectual disability charities, including helping kids and young adults with Down Syndrome.  As such, Torin has been given the prominent work title of Roll-b Charity Ambassador !
